Helpful Hints for the First Time Students
Please arrive 20 minutes before class to register and be on time!
Please bring a bath towel, a wash cloth, and a big bottle of water (we sell water at the Studio).
If you already have a sticky mat, please bring it with you; otherwise, you can rent one from us.
All classes are 90 minutes and no pre-registration required.
The first class is the hardest one since you are not used to the heat but it gets easier as you do more and you will feel the benefits immediately even after just completing one class! Remember, this is a yoga class. Be prepare to smile, enjoy yourself, and get ready to sweat!
Age Policy
As a new
student, you need to be accompanied by the guardians/parents for your first
visit if you are under 18 years old. The guardian needs to take the first
class with the children for the first class. You can
not
take our
classes if you are 16
years old or younger. Please
call the Studio if you have any questions regarding the age limitation.
Preparation before Class for All Students
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before class and wear light workout clothing.
Please avoid eating heavy
meals before class time, but eat something light such as a piece of fruit or
a banana (full of potassium) so you have energy for the class and you will
be ready to sweat and avoid feeling dizzy and nauseous.
We recommend you do not eat heavy meals 2-3 hours before class.
Please drink lots water throughout the day to properly hydrate yourself for the class.
You will need towels, a mat, and a bottle of water for the class (you can rent towels and mat, and purchase water at the Studio).
We do have showers, changing facilities, and free parking available on the site!
Health
Limitations
If you have any health
issues (i.e. high blood pressure, heart issues, etc.) or if you are on any
medications, please consult your doctor before coming to your first class.
If you are pregnant,
you can not take our hot yoga classes. If you are in good
health, please be well hydrated and eat something light such as a banana
before class time so you have enough energy for the class.
Helpful Hints to Remember after Class
